The role of the family physician in stroke risk factors hygiene diagnosis

Abstract


According to the literature, there is no risk factor can be the cause of 100% of the stroke. However, we may reduce he death rate by 75% and 50% incidence of stroke because of preventive measures. The article contains materials that characterize the incidence of stroke and mortality from it in the world. Materials and methods. The literature materials for specifying the risk factors and their importance in the development of stroke and prevention methods are viewed. A survey of 188 patients with stroke, including the question of the nature of power, behavior, profession, social conditions and others is made. Results and discussion. According to the Research Center of Neurology risk factors for stroke are divided into 2 groups: controllable and uncontrollable. Controlled factors are those that can be adjusted as a result of the recommendations of doctors and other decision makers aimed at addressing the adverse environmental factors, or can be changed as a result of lifestyle changes made by patient. This group of factors includes 4 groups: biological, environment, behavioral, psychological and social. Among the biological factors it’s necessary to note a high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, diabetes and obesity. The family doctor should take into account the uncontrolled (unregulated) risk factors: age, gender, heredity. Attention is drawn to the need to include the activities of the family doctor donozolohycheskoy hygienic risk factors for stroke diagnosis. A family doctor should use a simple methodology that involves regular surveys of residents: interviews, questionnaires. This helps a family doctor to develop a set of preventive measures and involved them together with partners-helpers to achieve significant progress in reducing the risk of stroke. Conclusions. 1. The acute cerebrovascular disease and deaths caused by it is a worldwide problem and require large expenses for treatment and rehabilitation. 2. In hygienic premorbid diagnosis of stroke risk factors a faamily doctor plays a main role. 3. A family doctor should use a simple methodology that involves regular surveys of residents: interviews, questionnaires.
